Hooters comes to town

OSAKA — Anyone who needs their fix of tater tots or fried pickles should be happy to hear Hooters is coming to Kansai this month. What? You’re not really interested in the food? Shame, because the menu looks like a pretty good offering of American bar grub. After running a successful beer garden in Nakanoshima this summer the big-name American brand has decided to open up shop in Osaka. They’ve already got two successful restaurants running in Tokyo, which are proving oddly popular with female diners. Expect chicken wings, grilled meats and burgers, flat-screen sports entertainment and some cheeky fun from the famed female staff. Opens mid-December in Honmachi, Osaka.
