Write for rights
Osaka — International Human Rights Day, as declared by the United Nations, is coming up on December 9. To celebrate, Osaka’s Amnesty International Japan group 95 are holding a writing event. You don’t have to be a member to join in. If you go, you can take part in an international “write-a-thon”, speaking out about human rights abuses. It’ll also be a good opportunity to learn more about what Amnesty actually does to help people in other countries. The event is from 3pm–5:30pm at The Blarney Stone in Umeda, Osaka.
