Eat Local Kobe Farmers’ Market
The Eat Local Kobe farmers’ market takes its title very seriously. This weekly outdoor market is all about spotlighting and promoting local, DIY startups and companies in the agricultural business. The market features only food that is produced locally and fits in with the climate and culture of the Kobe area. Eat Local Kobe is held nearly every Saturday (the schedule varies a bit) and usually hosts around 40 vendors. They also hold regular events, post articles and recipes on their site (in Japanese only), and have a very active and drool-worthy Instagram account (@eatlocalkobe). It’s also located in Sannomiya in one of the city’s nicest parks.
When: Regularly on Saturdays, but the schedule varies seasonally (check the website for details)
Where: Higashi Yuenchi Park, 6-4 Kanocho, Chuo-ku, Kobe
