World Record Bon-Odori Attempt
In celebration of 400 years since the Dotonbori area of Osaka was created, on August 16, 3,000 people will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Bon Odori Dance. Although entry for participants is closed, the event will likely be an amazing spectacle. So grab your cameras and head down to Dotonbori to see if they manage it. In order to successfully break the record, all dancers must perform in unison and so have had to learn and practice the dance using online videos. The fun starts from 5pm.
