Nipponbashi Street Festival 2015
The annual Nipponbashi Street Cosplay Festa in Osaka is a mecca for anime fans, closet-nerds and voyeurs of all shapes and sizes. This year, Kansai Scene went along to catch the action on film.
Saturday March 21st was the 11th edition of the subculture spectacle that is the Nipponbashi Street Festival. Thousands of cosplay fans and an army of amateur photographers took to the streets of Osaka’s Nipponbashi area (also known as Den-den town for its plethora of electrical and hobby shops). Kansai Scene jostled for position to snap some of the revellers and get a few interviews.
