Craft Beer Bars Mushrooming Across Kansai

Kansai’s thirst for craft beer shows no signs of abating with new spots popping up every month. Kitahama’s Yellow Ape Craft is opening a second location near Namba OCAT on March 14th. Smoke House Ape will serve smoked food as well as craft beers, and as a real bonus, it will have a no-smoking policy.

On March 25th, Craft Beer Base is opening a restaurant/bar in the basement of the Dai-1 bldg in Umeda called Craft Beer Base BUD. Following the success of its satellite bottle shop Craft Beer Seed in the Hanshin Department Store, BUD will serve food and coffee as well as eight taps of craft beer goodness.
