Surprising school thief caught on camera
Osaka — Four teachers at Nozato Elementary School were understandably an-noyed when a thief kept pinching money from their wallets left in a teacher’s room. They were surprised, however, when the culprit was caught on a hidden camera – as it was their very own vice principal. Takashi Honda, 57, claimed he stole the money only to embarrass his principal and didn’t intend to use the money at all. No charges were filed against him, though he lost his job, and he has offered to pay twice the amount he stole to each teacher. The total amount he stole was around ¥235,000.
