Kansai Airport, Osaka — great news for holiday travellers, another cheap airline has taken off from KIX. Jetstar, part of the Qantas group, is offering low-fare domestic flights from Osaka to Sapporo, Tokyo and Fukuoka. Lead-in fares for one-way flights all cost under ¥5,000, with one or two flights a day depending on the route. Over 100,000 tickets have already been sold since the airline opened sales in April 2012.
